YAYY!!!!

Hilarious trip to Buenos Aires, involved chasing a cab writing down its license as it drove away with the door open and my things falling out of it, electrocuting myself on the floor socket in the room, which is haute-style, made entirely of curtains. No surfaces on which to put anything in the room and bathroom enclosed entirely in glass and mirrors. Impossible to navigate, all the dancers are running into all the glass walls, hilarious. Tiger plugged his computer into the provided converter and it exploded.

The plane from Washington to San Salvador to Lima, Peru to Beunos Aires was the SAME one-- the company pretty much has that one, and so each time, they'd make me pack up and leave, pretending I wasn't getting back on the same plane. Each boarding, they'd put on their poker face and welcome me (the only non-spanish speaker) to Aero Taca. "Buenos Tardes, Air Attack!" every time.

Visa's worked out, things are fine on Clare's end, booked onto Meow's flight back to Melbourne. Have to book a flight to Sydney before departing there the afternoon of the 27th. Should I leave the morning of Wed, the 26th? Will that give me enough time in Melbourne?

A fan from New York had his assistant in Phoenix (home of the ticketing travel office) call one of their contractors to pick up the paper tickets for the rest of my journey and drive them down the street 4 blocks to a FedEx, sending them to me here in Argentina, where they'll arrive, oh, Wednesday or Thursday.

There is, of course, the small matter of working out the nation-wide strike of Aerolineas Argentinas, now in its second day, which operates the Friday flight to GET me to Australia. People are breaking into fist-fights all over the city. OKAY!
