UPDATE JULY 25, 2009
In case you haven't noticed, beginning today, I will put the updates on top of the blog so you won't have to read through everything if you already seen it. I wanted to let you know that we continue to expand our group of over 300 KIMs, now with 20 male KIMs. Thanks to everyone for playing along.

Hi,
In case you haven't noticed, I'm gaining a lot of friends who share the same name. I am not the only guy in the world named Kim, but I am one of a very few in the US.
I'm hoping that we can gather the greatest number of friends named Kim (or some derivation thereof) on MySpace, or anywhere else for that matter.
Right now, I know that we have close to 100 Kims, literally from all over the world. When I get a chance, I'll give you some more specific stats.
In the meantime, welcome to the KIMS!

Hi Kims! Time for an update.
We now have over 100 Kims onboard. The really range from almost every state in the US and countries all over the world. I will begin a list of US Kims and work my way around the globe.
I will not give names of cities or towns (especially in the case of small towns, I've lived in a few, where everyone knows everybody else) in order to protect your anonymity.
And in no particular order: Wisconsin, Kansas, Texas, Hawaii, California (lots), Georgia, Indiana, Illinois, Oregon, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, Wyoming, Washington, Florida, Tennessee, Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, Washington DC, North Carolina, and Virginia.
In my next update, I'll list locations outside the US. I already know we have a lot of Aussies, Canadians, and some Kims from places in Europe of which I'm pretty sure I've never heard.

Hi All,
A quick update! We're over 150 strong and still growing. We've added a few more of the "Lower 48," and (this is in no way a scientific pronouncement), I've discovered that there A LOT of Kims in Florida!

Okay Guys, I'm pretty sure,now, without any fear of repercussions, that if you live in Florida, you have to change your name to Kim. The only reason I didn't know this before was, when I lived in Florida, my name already was Kim!

**UPDATE 02/6/2009**
Well Kims,
We're up to 210 Kims, of some description, from places all over the country and the world.
We've added some more from the following US States (Territories): Michigan, South Dakota, New Jersey, Nevada, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Rhode Island, Connecticut, South Carolina, (Guam), Kentucky, Arizona, Arkansas, Alabama, and Maine. That bring us to 38 States.
In Canada: British Columbia, Quebec, and Alberta.
In Australia: Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, and New South Wales.
In UK/Europe: United Kingdom, Belgium, Denmark, Limburg, Baden-Württemberg, and Netherlands. (Some of these may be repetitious. I was not a Geography major.)
In Africa and the Middle East: Israel and Uganda.
In case you're beginning to think I'm some kind of sexest, when I began this little undertaking, I invited a lot of male Kims. None of them responded. I know they're a few out there, but I guess they didn't want to play along.
Anyway, we continue. If you know of anyone else, Kims, Kimmys, Kimbers, Kimberlys (Kimberleighs), Kimboughs, etc., invite them to join us.

We continue to grow, as a group. I hope we’ll also continue to grow as friends as we work to reach the goal of being the largest group of KIMs in the world!!

Today is a
Red Letter Day for the KIMs. We now have, besides myself, the first
male Kim to join our group. It encourages me, again, to start inviting more guys named Kim.
OBTW: If any of you doubt that I'm a guy, and an old one at that, I have added my latest pic.
Keep on being KIMs. I know I will.

NEW NOTE June 11, 2009
Okay Kims, we now have three guy Kims, which doesn't include me, so that's four total. But the really big news: Today we added a Kim from Antarctica.
