today we tracked the last of the lead vox for isaac's song "peaceful times" for the album.  isaac would blush if he heard me telling you but that track is going to be fucking awesome.  the guitars are already the sonic equivalent of those delicious dark chocolate petit ecolier cookies. smoov and crunchy. bitter and sweet. 
can't wait to hear the final mix.
we're closing in on it, album release info will be coming soon and no doubt there will be feverish blogging to let you know.

ps. mark your calenders for july 26th when we'll return to the grand ole echo.  its a rare chance to see us in a family friendly setting at a reasonable hour for the kiddos.  bbq, beer and la's favorite night of alt-country at the world famous venue.  see you there!
