The sad fact is that most Obama supporters are for MORE government control of our lives and a GREATER US presence around the world. They are clueless when it comes to the constitution's governmental restraints and don't care - as long as they get 'free' health care and end poverty around the world. Unfortunately, they will get neither from Obama or any other president.

I think a majority of Obama supporters don't even pay attention to politics. After Bush, everybody knew we needed "change". What better way to wake the drones from their daily slumber than to preach the obvious. Then, once in office - lull them back to sleep and do the exact opposite of what was preached.

The EPA does not prevent polution, they make "Regulations" that cost us money, do little to help the environment, and cost us billions as industry tries to keep up with the ever changing and complicated new "Regulations". Most of which are based on bs not science as they do their best to justify their existance.

Our founding fathers never intended for so many beauracies to be at the uncontrolable and unaccountable federal level. They thought that the people in the states and local counties and cities would have much more effect controling their "Public servants". As the people at the locat and state level do a fine job of keeping their politicians in order for the most part.

You're absolutely right, and while his supporters are busily championing for these "good" government programs they are bliind to the bad ones that also come with it.

“You can't give the government the power to do good without also giving it the power to do bad - in fact, to do anything it wants.

That's right. Status quo Obama flaunting the word change while attending secret meetings of the CFR and Bilderberg group. Funny how many are so sold on that word, which for Obama means nothing.

Dr Paul is correct though, that real change occurs in changing the paradigm of Obama supporters. Thankfully so many have woken up already and more continue to. The agenda has moved into the light where more and more are realizing it... and once they become aware they can never be unaware again. And that is the beauty of Ron Paul's message and it is also the greatest threat to the empire that has come to pass and is soon to fall.

What I love about Ron Paul is how he does not seek to fight the superpowers, but instead to enlighten the people to truth. Many who hear get angry and want to fight the system. It is powerful to remember that if we are fighting it we are still part of it. By embracing who we are, which is infinite consciousness, which is 100% free and can never be anything but, we cease to hold the paradigm in place that grants them power... and whether knowingly or unknowingly Ron Paul is a beacon of light for that truth. Things are becoming less and less secret because the global elite have been exposed as the men behind the curtain and now they frantically scurry around to put their agenda in place before we wake up anymore people. They have to be blatant about it now, for their days of secrecy are numbered.

Keep sounding the alarms folks. Keep spreading the freedom message. We cannot help but be free. It is the true nature of who we are... so practice your freedoms without fear of their loss. Yet stay abreast to the happenings of things... but look for the little breakthroughs. You will find them all around and you will help expand freedom by broadcasting you freeness to the world around you. You may proclaim in the streets carrying signs declaring your freedom, but it is most important to proclaim it in your heart and to those close around you for all change begins within each individual.

In the word character in the Chinese language for the word challenge is one character that means chaos and one that means opportunity. In every challenge their lies opportunity to become more. America is being given a great gift in her repression, for the love and desires of freedom have never been stronger and the love and compassion for those caught up in a useless war has never been greater. We have never valued our freedom as much as we do now in the face of the 'threat' of it's existence. What do you think skydiving and other extreme sports are all about? Feeling ALIVE... for you will never feel more alive than you do when you are staring death in the face. Embrace these times. We are headed for tremendous victory.

Now take a moment and ponder who you are... You are free. You are infinite consciousness and you do not have to grant power to wicked ones. Let them follow their own darkened path, for dark cannot dispel darkness, only light can do that, and hate cannot demolish hate, only love can cure that. When you stand in your own proclamation of freedom it is easy to love your enemies and as you do you will rob them of their power to harm you.

Obama-shmama, Hilary-bilary, McQuack and all the rest, do not deserve your attention. Put it on your loved ones. Direct it to your own life experience and feel as free as you can. Blast your trumpets, sing, dance and celebrate the bright freedom-filled future we are creating and the walls of the empire will fall... but even if you don't believe me and you believe instead that the hammer will fall and all freedom be lost wouldn't you want to make the best of your days in which the freedoms you have still remain? Don't you want to live it up as long as you can? Or would you prefer to wallow and fear the days to come while discussing matters that leave you feeling powerless?

Free choice, the last and greatest of all freedoms. Use it.

If the people will simply transmute this stagnated, fear-based energy, into productive nurturing energy; they will profit greatly and the situation will reverse itself on all levels.

The people fear not having adequate food due to inflation, excessive taxation, poor use of capital and interest payments. With each passing day the people are becoming increasingly enslaved to the costs associated with the dependency on civilization and the money system.

It is therefore incumbent upon us to reduce our dependency on this civilization for survival. It is time to exercise our freedom to plant a garden, grow our own foods on this bountiful land that we inhabit.

We have to move away from this hijacked "money" system, and into a "human" system. The "money" system has no integrity anymore.

The architects of today's system have created 1.1 QUADRILLION dollars worth of derivative instruments to float the massive debt and keep Frankenstein alive. At any moment, the money system could come unhinged and bring the prices of everything sky-high, as happened in Weimar Germany after the reparations of WWI.

It is far more profitable to live independently, when it is feasible, because the government cannot tax your tomato bush, fruit tree, etc. The system can, however, tax 40-50% of the cost of getting food through the money system. By the time a loaf of bread reaches you, it has been taxed, all told, hundreds of times directly and indirectly.

The trip to the ballot box is rigged, we have to uproot it at the source. Reduce, and seek to eliminate your dependency on civilization, become more independent with each passing day if you can.

The willingness to stop this dependency, when it becomes so much of a burden as is now the case, is an essential element of freedom.

Got to hand it to Ron Paul for 'telling it like it is!'. The Obama campaign is a farce. Obama will only make cosmetic 'change'. If we want actual change, other than re-educating the populous out of the corporate indoctrination, we will need to re-structure government in a way that is less vulnerable to corporate, financial & military corruption. I sense that Ron Paul would attempt this if he managed to get through the big media / digital voting machine net.

Not the most constructive statement I have heard come out of RP's mouth. Why couldn't he just hold Obama feet to the fire on the FISA bill? And try to get him to do the right thing on that? Politicians. Just like Nadar instead of working inside the systems when possible and doing whats best for their policies they do whats best to protect their supporters from crossing over.

Ron didn't need to do this. And I don't think he should of. First Obama has come out and said that medical marijuana is a good idea and that decriminalization was an option. Even though he later backtracked on the decriminalization. So Ron you are wrong about that. Second you sound jealous that he is stealing what you see as an "overlap" of supporters. Third maybe you should check out his web site for more information about what he means by change. When JFK made his speech declaring Americans would land on the moon before the decade is out; He even said that we would use metals that haven't even been invented yet. Did you criticize that speech as too vague and JFK was simply another politician that gave good speeches? This statement by Ron puts him in the category of show man. And that sucks.

The average Democrat believes the nanny state is a good thing. Its not entirely their fault though. Just like a lot of Republicans, they are indoctrinated from childhood with their parents, grandparents, and great grandparents views on government. No matter what platform you support that sort of indoctrination and blind, ignorant allegiance is extremely dangerous. Thats exactly how many good down home conservatives ended up in bed with warmongering Neo Cons, and liberals in bed with socialists. Politics is not religion, placing blind faith in mortal men is a grievous mistake. Elected officials need to be scrutinized, in good times and in bad, and they need to be hounded to stay the proper course, and reprimanded when they deviate from it.

I think the best way to reach out to people is to encourage them to educate themselves and think for themselves without a single word of our platform policy. Anyone who opens their eyes will note that The Revolution, is the brightest, if not only, source of light in the room.

Obama supporters are our future comrades. If Obama is elected, which I feel there is a great chance he will be, as soon as he begins to fail to deliver and leads us into war in Iran, his supporters will feel slighted, and make a note of the lack of change. Then they will recognise that there is only one option outside the reaches of the special interests of the military industrial complex.

Bobadi, i disagree, Dr Paul does not support bureaucratic organizations like the EPA. But contrary to your opinion, i would present to you the fact that Dr.Paul also believes in protecting personal property and has stated that pollution should be handled by local people, without government agencies saying what is an allowable amount of pollution and what isn't. If you live close to a factory now you have no voice against the pollutants the release. If Dr.Paul was elected, the EPA would be taken apart, but your community would have a voice in the amounts of pollution expelled in your community. We don't have that option right now.

And remember, the EPA is a business. I worked at a factory where we had a paint thinner spill (over 500 gallons) and it seeped into the Cumberland River. The EPA was contacted, but did nothing. No fines, no cleanup. Bureaucracy teaches people to become sheep and allow the government to handle everything. That is how we lose our freedoms, not gain them.

I really appreciate Ron Paul's ability to speak of his opponents respectfully, even when he disagrees with them. As president I think he truly would have been able to step across party lines and work with everyone, and he'd have been respected and appreciated by foreign leaders as well. It's a real shame he's not the Republican nominee, but I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of that race.

The "Change" that we will have to demand is a lifestyle change. Instead of allowing our politicians to be our 'Leaders", we have got to have politicians who are our 'followers' and listen to what we want as well as represent those things in their voting histories (hurray Dr.
Paul)

The rest of the world might just believe that we want our government to do the things that they are doing, especially if a Pres. from a different party continues the tactics already in use. And that is a dangerous assumption, for us. If there is any truth at all in the "hate us for our freedom", I imagine it's in hating us for not using our freedom. Why can't Congress stop this war? Because we don't demand it.

Stand up.

mega eight

The above graphic is to give you some idea of how deep an interest I take in the turmoil in the Middle East. For my part, I believe that President Obama is far better able to get his arms around that situation that would President McCain.

Here's how I felt about President Obama, when he was presidential candidate Obama. I happen to be of Italian descent. Let's suppose this situation had happened .... oh, yeah, thank heavens it never did. Then presidential candidate Obama hated anything Italian so much that he spat in my face and called me a "dirty wop". I still would've voted for him. There are my concerns for my country, and there is my personal dignity. Of course, Secret Service or no Secret Service, I would've coldcocked him.

Anyway, back to the turmoil in the Middle East, I am conjecturing, thanks to some evidence, that President is groping towards what is really bugging the Arab portion of the Islamic. Guess what! It ain't so much Israel. It's America. More specifically, it's American technology, what it did to poison Islam.

So far as I can tell, the "bedbugs", who perpetrated 9/11 believe this about their religion, and the fateful choice Muslims must make. Choosing to be a good Muslim means living in the 14th (fourteenth century). Choosing to live in the 21st (twenty-first) century means apostasy. Those bedbugs are positive that apostasy is an offense that must be punished by execution.

And here's what in their mind is so horrible about the 21st century. The moon, yes that celestial body that inspires love lyrics and influences the tides, is now a monument to American INFIDEL technology. Here in the world of secular Western Civilization, that's no big hairy deal. But in Islam, that's one huge female parent violating deal.

Choosing to live in the 21st century means tolerating that state of the moon. Living in the 14th century might be a tactic to avoid that necessity of tolerance.

That raises a rhetorical question. What's so big a deal about the moon being a monument to American INFIDEL technology. For openers, it might prove enlightening to review some Arab history, when the Prophet was beginning his career by settling a dispute about a certain token from heaven. And that involves the Kaaba.

Take the Kaaba. According to the good people at Merriam-Webster, and I'm quoting, "a small stone building in the court of the Great Mosque at Mecca that contains a sacred black stone and is the goal of Islamic pilgrimage and the point toward which Muslims turn in praying". That sacred black stone is, most likely, a meteor. The Arabs in the time of the Prophet considered it as a token from heaven.

So, right at the very start, Muslims regarded and still regard the visible heavens with special reverence. In Islamic culture, that crescent, which represents the moon, is an extremely powerful symbol. It makes a far greater impression upon Muslims that the cross does on Christians. Just so happens, Muslims adhere to the lunar calendar for their religious observance. In fact, their most sacred month Ramadan begins with the first light of the moon at dawn on a certain day.

When an American astronaut stepped foot on the moon, the moon as a symbol was wrenched out of the center of Islam. Then it became a monument to American INFIDEL technology. No wonder, the bedbugs hate America so much.

... wood'jah (?) buh-leave! ... I tend to speculate that the leaders of the Islamic world are infuriated by the snatching of the moon by American INFIDEL technology. Maybe, just maybe, they'd consider ransoming the moon by abjuring all claims to Jerusalem ... bye, bye, Islam's third holiest shrine.

But the basic interests remained and remain the same, the same puppet masters in the world...
