Happy 40th Sesame Street. And still have my favorites... Sing it with me. Imagine the old animation and that trippy ball: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... (YouTube)

Sesame Street has been on for 40 years, yet they play the same 6 episodes over and over and over!

It only looks that way because the "commercials" they put between the segments actually on Sesame Street are the same ones they've been running for 40 years. LOL cept for Elmo's World.

Personally I'd actually like to see some of those old ones again. I've wanted to see the episodes where R2-D2 and C-3PO again for years. (And no, I'm not kidding, they did that.)

no they are definitey the same episodes over and over. My 16 month old daughter loves that show and we record it from 2 channels and they are the same 6 or 7 episodes each time. I don't understand why since the show has been on for 40 years!!

I was always an Electric Company man.  I mean, they had two of the greatest super heroes of all time. Spiderman (nobody knows who you are.)  And the best of the best, Letter-Man (faster than rolling "O".  More powerful than silent "E".  Able to leap capital "T" in a single bound.  It's a verb.  It's a noun.  It's Letter-Man!)

Yeah, I remember tuning in, just for the "live action" Spiderman comic segments, as a kid.
