Dokuro is very proud to present a split 3" between  To Live and shave in L.A. and Harshcore.
To Live and shave in L.A. need no presentation: their records combine  elements of musique concrete, noise, heavy dub, and pervasive electronics.  They are perhaps the fathers of the american noise scene, truly underground since the '90s! "Le Ceneri di ..." (TLASILA's track)  is  an ironic attack to the self-congratulatory predilections of bloated star bands... a great piece of plunderphonic music that has its force in the measured noisy counterpoint to the mainstream's silliness.
Harshcore's  sound is based on analogic and poor electronics, bass, tape loops and other junks. They play live wearing animal masks and  making a weird mix of depitched tapes, geek rhythms and distort bass guitar. "Sun Hidden There" (Harshcore's song)  is permeated with the reading of  "Dinosauria, We"  by writer and poet  Charles Buckowski... musically it's a countdown pulse decostruction that flows exactly with the pace and meaning of the poem.
Lymphous indagative (and double-A-side) artwork by Merlo, DK010 will be release in a  ltd. edition of 70.
