ok as most of you know nick and i got married on friday. 08-08-08 and no it wasnt planned that way. that is our actual 6 yr anniversary being together. wierd i know. neways for a couple of months i have been talking with my mom and dad. getting their flight and hotel stuff squared away. they arived the thursday b4 the wedding. my best friend also came. i think i was the happiest person in the world this past weekend. i know it was expensive to travel like that but i can honestly say it was an honor to have them there. i dont get to see them nemore now that i live up here. tiff is closer but the cost of fuel is so outrageous i understand not being able to visit.
neways i had help with the planning from my soon to be sister in law and mother in law. thx so much for the help. oh and deidra helped as well. she is nicks cousin. she did my hair and make up. awesome job. love ya. honestly everything just turned out perfect. even with the limited funds it was perfect.
im an only child and to actually have a sister and brother now is so awesome. i mean i know they r in laws. its still nice to know i can say hey yeah thats my sister or brother.
i know im a dork and half of this stuff doesnt make sence but its what is in my head as im writing..lol.
one of the greatest things about that day was when my mom put my great great grandmothers pearls on me. wearing those was awesome.
nick was so handsome. that was the first time in 6 years he has ever dressed so nice. seeing him in that suit almost made me cry. i was very impressed he could look so stunning. he was beautiful(not girly beautiful but u know what i mean). lol.
omg kira was such a doll. gram did a beautiful job on her dress. fit her so well and she looked like a princess. my princess. she did a wonderful job being the flower girl. it was cute. when she was dropping the flowers one fell off of the runner and onto the grass. she stopped and picked it up and dropped it again. it was cute.
all in all it was just the best day of my life. if u werent there i know u wanted to be. if u were. thank you so much for sharing such a special day with us. my family and friends. thx so much.
