Current mood: fabulous
Is it a marketing strategy? Is it something that a few members believe in? Is it a form of ministry? Lately I have been thinking a lot about what the purpose of this band really is, and what is "success". Unfortunately there are bands out there that use the term "Christian" as a way to market themselves to a certain group of people. Other bands may have a few Christian members, and consider themselves a Christian band. However to me, I believe that a Christian band is built on members who all have a genuine love for God, and have a desire to spread the word of the Lord to others. We do not try to force our beliefs down peoples throats, we all have a God given free will, and we respect the fact that people do not believe that there is a God. As far as success goes, it cannot be measured by any number, word, or tangible object. Success is not measured by how many people we play for, but it is measured by the lives we have touched. I pray that God will be able to use us to reach out to others that may never hear of the love our Lord has for them. We also do not wish to offend anyone by what we say. If you disagree with us that is fine, we have full respect for you, and we ask that you will respect us for standing up for what we believe in.
We love each and everyone of you, and hope to see your shining faces soon!
God bless,
-Tyler
