	Pelkey	bravo, tyler. i like how you unmask the "undercover christian bands". the kids that say "we're christians in a band, just making music" that keeps them unaccountable for the words they write and the kids they might lead astray. our life is a complete service (ministry) to others. unfortunately Christ never came to make friends and for some reason the gospel (though it is completely selfless; sacrificial; loving) is offensive. the very mention of Jesus' name pisses people off. you already know this. when people (including ourselves) are confronted with their own sin and are told by their own conscience they are "in need of forgiveness" & "need to change" they buck and kick against that uncomfortable feeling of being wrong. i hate change, but i hate my sin nature even more. the damage it does to me and those around me hurts more than my pride being hurt. that's one of the only difference between a Christian and a non-christian. i pray that when people come to your shows people will realize that they're in need of a saviour and in desperate need of change. later bro jon sorry if i rambled. i like the subject. i like the truth that comes to the surface.   Posted by Pelkey on Friday, May 16, 2008 - 12:50 PM [Reply to this]

	Ms. Self Destruct	I guess "Christian" groups fall under one of two categories: ones with lyrics that specifically speak of God and following his word, and groups whose members may or may not be Christian, but their message is in agreeance with a religious lifestyle. When I was younger, I found it very difficult to be simultaneously a Christian and a metal/hardcore lover since there are very few heavy bands that fall under either of those categories. I have a lot of love and respect for bands that label themselves as Christians, as people are likely to ignorantly discard/ignore them in fear of any possible "preachiness."
