So today I was running an errand in the shopping center across the street from my office.  I got out of my car, was walking towards the store, I glance over at the person passing me the other direction and who is it????  Only the drummer of my lifelong favorite band - YES...yup, it's Alan White.  So I stopped and chatted with him for a few minutes.

How often do you get to meet by chance someone who you have admired and been a fan of for as long as you can remember?  So, even though my day overall was actually quite nasty and problematic...this little encounter made the whole thing okay.  And by the way, for you YES fans out there, Alan told me they will be forming up again next year and touring the country.  The energizer bunnies of Prog Rock.  Gotta love those guys.
