Call it a stroke of luck or a silver lining. In these recessionary times, we have made the best with what we got and believe that we have come up with something even better.
The 2009 Georgetown
Music Fest is combining with Georgetown’s
other homegrown carnival, Seattle Weekly Artopia to present a double headed beast of art and
music on June 27th. By
combining these 2 events, festival patrons will be able to enjoy creations from
some of the area’s best underground artists while listening to the sounds of
some of the Northwest’s up and coming musical talent.
Best of all this festival will be free. Yes, free.
This year the GMF will be held on Saturday, June 27th from 2pm until 10pm and will play
host to dozens of bands on 2 outdoor
stages and 1 indoor stage at Jules Mae Saloon. Revel in the beer garden and enjoy what we do best....Rock seriously hard.
