Just finished
The Vesuvius Club by Mark Gatiss, one of the geniuii behind The League of Gentlemen.
Picked it up completely on a whim as the cover blurb description did it for me, and I suppose the Jasper Fforde quote didn't go amiss either.
Absolutely loved it, and straight away picked up his second,
The Devil Wears Amber straight away, only to discover it was a signed copy, which is always nice. I'm part way through that, with:
Fat by Rob GrantA Spot Of Bother by Mark HaddonThe Case Of The Missing Books and
Mr Dixon Disappears, both by Ian Samson
all lined up to read next.
Today I picked up
Alan Partridge: Every Ruddy Word: The Complete Scripts which I think is going to be my pub reading material.
Looooooooooooking forward to the future:
April - Don't Cry For Me Aberystwyth by Malcom Pryce - Ooooh :)
July - First Among Sequels by Jasper Fforde - Ahhhh :D:D
July - The Da-da-di-da-da Code by Robert Rankin - Eeeeeeee :D:D:D
*wears out carpet pacing up and down*
