Current mood:  crazy
Category: Romance and Relationships
I went on a date with a boy some time ago.  The date was so-so - nothing spectacular by any stretch of the imagination.  In fact, I didn't expect to ever hear from him again.

But, he and I have remained in touch via e-mail.  I have not seen him again - for a reason.  After only one date, the boy wants to come over and "hang out and watch a movie" at my place.  And, he refuses to do anything else.

When I told him that I don't allow people to come over to my house (and gave him many other excuses, he essentially told me that's the only way he wants to see me.  He said he likes to know that he can "just relax with a girl and not have to go out and spend money" to be with her.  Wow - what a way to make a girl feel special...

What ever happened to the concept of WORKING YOUR WAY to that point????

Granted, I've gone to women's places even for the 1st date----but, you've gotta establish a comfort level with someone to get that far.

I'm with DON here. What ever happened to the concept of WORKING YOUR WAY to that point? I think you're right to write this one off. Definitely NO SOCIAL SKILLS. Just what you need -- a couch potato that expects you to "Martha Stewart" him.

Forget him.

Yeah, we can be pretty stupid at times...
