HOW TO PLAY LOOSE + THINGS TO KNOW....

1.   Check the list of people who have already played + listen to the songs on our profile

2.  No pubrock/metal/emo/funk/acoustic singer-songwriters - no offence but it's just not our thing so you're better off going with someone who promotes that type of music regularly so you'll get a much better show with a more appreciative audience. (see LOADS of other promoters below)

3.  Avoid playing Cardiff a few weeks either side of the date you're asking for - that way more people will come to your show

4. WE DO NOT OPERATE ANY KIND OF PAY-TO-PLAY/FLYER SCHEME - we're very much against anywhere that offers such 'deals' and we encourage bands to boycott them.

5.  Guarantee - if you play Loose you'll be offered a guarantee + a small amount of catering/drinks/guestlist + accommodation so you'll be very well looked after

6.  Waiting list - we have day jobs AND we're in a touring band, so we only organise Loose 1-2 times a month. If we could buy a venue and do this full-time we would! But we can't. So please don't get offended or pushy if we don't put you on immediately. There is a waiting list and we don't just put on randomly matched bands either - if we like you we'll put you on eventually!

TOURING BANDS

If you're from outside Cardiff please let us know your tour period and we'll see if we can help out. Please try to give us plenty of notice.

If we can't fit you in then chances are next time around we may be able to, so don't be put off if we can't work something out immediately, we'll try our best.
