I'll be traveling to San Francisco in early August for a three-person show featuring my work + the work of Marco Zamora and Keith Shore titled "Linear Abandon". I will be showing a brand new series of work ( all the pieces in the show are also included in my new book, except for one )

In the latest series of paintings by Portland-based artist Jesse Reno, shamanic beings struggle to find their place in a world simultaneously on the verge of expanding and collapsing. Totem animals and Native American figures reverberate memories of people who once lived as one with nature. Marked by symbols, these figures seek their dreams in the growth of trees and the passing of spirits. On their quest to find their true selves, they collect feathers and relics left by past encounters and past lives. They learn to transcend the boundaries of the rational world evolving into a collage of what they have become and encountered. LOCAL 35 - Solo Show + Live Painting

I will be live painting an uotside mural on Saturday July 26th from Noon - 5pm (probably Sunday and Monday too). There will be free drinks all three days. The opening will be held on August 14th and will serve as the Portland release of my new book and print as well as feature 17 new works.

JULY 31th - THE GOODFOOT

I will be showing work and DJing with Lana Guerra at the opening reception for the Invision 2 book release show at the Goodfoot. Info About the show:The Goodfoot, Artpdx & Anothersky Press are proud to announce the realease of Invision 2 A Collection of Visual Art from Portland + Beyond - an 80 page book featuring full-color reproductions of works from 12 exciting artists. In celebration of the release, we have organized an exhibition of work that has appeared in the Invision series as well as new works by many of the artists involved. Please join us on Thursday, July 31st from 5 - 11pm at the Goodfoot for the opening. Show will be up until August 25th.
