So this is a big month of music for me, as I have 4 records I've produced being released over the next 4 weeks.
Really excited that today's release is from Josh Hoge. The album is called "Everything She Was," and it's a killer. Full of amazing songs, and even more amazing vocal performances from Josh (with some guest appearances from Marc Brousasrd, Caitlin Crosby, and yours truly), the record reflects Josh's Nashville roots and captures his gritty acoustic based pop-soul kind of style. I'm so proud to be a part of this record. I started pursuing Josh back when I was doing A & R at Columbia records, and to finally be able to work with him was just a fantastic opportunity. Damn, this kid can sing. The record is full of gritty, honest pop soul songs, and I'm sure you'll dig it. Also, if you ever have the chance to see him live, don't miss it. His shows are electrifying!!!
Also, check out the great review our mutual friend Elliott Yamin wrote of "Everything She Was" in his MySpace Blog....
