The United Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, is offering medical grants to patients 16 years old or younger who currently have commercial medical insurance, but whose families are facing significant financial need paying for care that is either not covered, or not completely covered, by their existing medical insurance.
The grants range in amount but can be up to $5,000 per family. There are a number of exclusions. To find out more or to read about eligibility for the program, go to: www.uhccf.org.
