Two in one week! And so affordable! Crazy...

"Filtered Light (chamber music 4)" documents the new site-specific sound installation I am doing at the end of March for the UNM Art Museum in Albuquerque. Gorgeous, luminous tones distilled from a recording of the empty gallery after hours. It sounds kind of like light: particles AND waves. A tasty treat for your inner minimalist. Limited edition (250) CD-R released by Dragon's Eye Recordings (http://www.dragonseyerecordings.com/), available from the and/OAR Diffusion Shop (http://www.and-oar.org/).

"The Webster Cycles" is probably the oldest piece of mine you'll ever get to hear. All of the words in the dictionary that use only the letters A-G, arranged in alphabetical order. No, really, they sound beautiful. Would I lie? Looks like a Fluxus score, but sounds more like Stuart Dempster or Ingram Marshall. This ultra lush version for six trombones was performed by the great JA Deane (Butch Morris, Jon Hassell, Brian Eno). Budget-priced CD-EP released by Cold Blue Music (http://www.coldbluemusic.com/).
