Back when I was growing up Evel Kneivel was the shit.  Nobody could touch him...and not too many dared.  Of course as kids we all tried to come up with ways to emulate him but always fell short.  It amazes me that I never broke a bone doing jumps that looked a lot like Napolean Dynomite did and raunched his nuts.  We had a lot of casualties and if I had kids they'd never get to go out and do the stuff we did.

Guess it worked out OK in the end.  Maybe when you're young you're made out of rubber...lol!

Anyone else have good memories of bikes?  Heck, I just got a cool cruiser after all these years...Dan, you were decades ahead of your time.

I'm 34 a little crazy and love going downhill at 30 + MPH on a pedal bike in the mountains. Love the Blue Ridge Parkway!!!

Yeah, I use to do stupid stuff on a moped when I was 14. Made a copper out of one after a hard jump! I bent the frame. Just got a Trek mountain bike now though. However, I really like the Triumph Daytona and Sprinter. Just never have pulled the trigger to get one. The stupidest thing I ever did. Was when I was 13 on my Mongoose. I cut accross in front of a Semitractor trailor and got hit! I got thrown away from being pulled under, because I was pedaling standing up. The bike was sucked under like vacuum and flattened. I just got a concussion and broken arm. No guitar for like 6 months : ( . That was alot of luck and matter of physics to alive.
