Ohhhh Kaaaay...

Why is Flava Flav a real life person and not just a bad dream I had after a sausage sandwich too late at night?

(Remember that episode of the Cosby Show?)

I mean, I know that "Flava of Love" is old news now, but I absolutely refuse to watch that garbage, so I saw Flava and "his women" on the Tyra Banks show today...

**NOTE** I do understand that I need my behind kicked for watching the Tyra Banks show for longer than 10 minutes...except for that time when she wore that fat suit...that was deep...and that time she went to prison...that was deep too....and the time she went undercover as a stripper...and that eating disorder show she did...

OK, so I sorta kinda like the Tyra Banks show...but don't tell nobody...(dialect)

However, she often disappoints me with her balance of deep shows with absolutely stupid ones.

So back to the story, today, Flava Flav and "his women" were on the show.

I could have thrown up...I mean, I was actually disgusted.

Besides Flava Flav being old, rusty, braids ain't done right, yukmouth gold grill, and oh yeah, BEING OLD, and NOT cute - besides all of that, "his women" were a hot raggedy mess, too!

A HOT, RAGGEDY MESS!

Now keep in mind, this is the first time I have ever met these characters, so I'm flipping out.

One of the girls had just graduated from medical school! But, she was an alcoholic who apparently has poor taste in all things important.

That scares me...I don't want her diagnosing NOTHIN' I got...

but anyway (you see I have to type in dialect in order to get this out...),

Flava Flav, as usual, is a bumbling idiot, running around, falling down, modeling, talking crazy, and showing his gold fronts. The man wears oversized clocks on ropes around his neck for Pete's Sake!

(who is Pete, by the way?)

This man is crazy!!! Why is it ok to watch him act like a retarded child and applaud? Why do Black people think that's funny? Black people can't even get mad and say that the media or the man is emasculating him or portraying him unfairly - this man is cutting his own...well, I don't have to go there.

But why is this cool? Where is the NAACP on this mess? Where were Jesse and Al when VH1 put THIS Black man on a pedastal for your children to watch and accept as...well, acceptable!

You might tell yourself that people understand that Flava is extreme and that he only embarasses himself, blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda. But that's some crap. If you laugh when you see that mess, you are saying that its at least alright for entertainment purposes, even though we all know that this is not fiction; its unscripted, its real life -

AND ITS NOT FUNNY.

Why is this real again?
