Hello humans,

So its day 2 of the MERCY KILLERS / TSOL west coast tour. The show last night in Spokane at the Zombie room was BADASS, but let me backtrack a
bit...

So we started the damn tour with me making a slight mistake...I thought tuesday was the 8th of October, and that's when we were gonna leave. But Monday rolled around, and that was the 8th...so I basically lost a day
to get everything together. Shitass, major mistake on my dumb ass part!

I scrambled around the morning of the 9th with Sampire, and we finally
got a van, practiced and left LA at about 6pm on the 9th. Next stop,
Spokane, WA, only a 20 hour drive!! *enter sarcasm*

The players in the game are Me (Craig) on vocals and guitar,

Sampire on bass,

, and another friend of ours John is our broadie.

Now I never know what to call someone who
comes and helps us sell tshirts and carry stuff. Roadie is a lame term that makes you think of some guy with a utility belt and a balding ponytail. So John is our Broadie, because he's our bro. Cool.

We set out for Spokane at 6pm on the 9th, and took some backass wards two lane freeways almost the whole way to Spokane. The scenery is badass, here's some pics I took. Talk about heaven, this shit is bad.

We drove through the night, and ended up driving 24 hours straight until we got to spokane at 7pm. We pulled up to the club and the promoter Daniel was like an old friend we already knew. He's from socal too, so
we bonded pretty quick. The club was cool, 21+ isn't our thing usually because we like everyone to be able to come see us, but this didn't feel like a 21+ place. It had that excitement and sense of community that a
newer scene has. Everyone was super positive and it seemed really tight knit. We saw Ron and Tiny from TSOL at dinner. Shane and I both worship Rons guitar playing, the guy is a maniac. He's the king of adding a
creepy texture to every song. Wierd ass howls and moaning feedback, so cool. If for some insane reason you haven't heard TSOL before, you need to stop everything you're doing right NOW and buy their first full
length DANCE WITH ME

We ended up playing first cos the opening band was late, but the club was packed so we didn't care. the set was killer, our first one with Shane and Jay. People were pressed up against the front of the stage,
and even started dancing and beating the shit out of each other, having fun. It made us feel totally welcome, fuck yeah spokane!!

Let me add right here a few bits about Jay and Shane. Now some of you know Shane from +44, another band I play in. Shaner rips it up, his guitar playing is exquisite, tasteful and textured, yet aggressive and full of energy too. He's a passionate player and were so happy to have
him as a part of MK...you're loved Shane! Jay played in a band with Shane back in the day called Scrimmage Heroes, so they've known each other forever and even made music together for years. Our drummer Colin
lives in Ireland and couldn't make it for this tour, so Jay is filling in for him. Jay learned the songs a week ago...he literally heard the record at noon...and by 7pm that day practiced wit us and nailed it. He's phenomenal and were so so happy to be playing with him as well. As
its looking now, he's giving Colin a run for his money!!!

Another anecdote....we haven't heard anything from our favorite irish drummer in a while...hence finding Jay. Write Colin *HERE* and tell him to contact us because we miss him and want to know what his deal is hehe

So jay and Shane killed it. Show number one succesful! TSOL fucking annihilated the place, Jack delivered with fury and that ghoulish grin he's infamous for, Roach thundered everbody to death on bass, Ron let some banshee howls out of his guitar, and Tiny hit the fucking drums HARD all night. Not too many of the *old school* bands can bring it like they did in the days that created their legendary status...but TSOL
overshadows everything. Their sets are always brutally powerful and most of all FUN!!! I think many TSOL fans wll agree that the best part of their sets is arguably Jacks hilarious inbetween song banter. They're
the best guys ever. Fuck yes.

After the show, Daniel the promoter and us went out to eat at some dinner that took 2 hours. Shitty. Now its about 3am, we haven't slept or showered in almost 3 days...OVER IT. We stayed at Daniels house in town,
everyone knocked out pretty quick. Wed like to thank Daniel and the whole Spokane punk and psychobilly scene there for being so hospitable.

Bands, if you read this, go to Spokane!!

Now were almost to seattle, first all ages show tonight...I'm excited to see the difference and fuck seattle UP.

Keep checking back for more stories and bullshit from the road...
