But for those who have sent kind notes for my daughter's speedy recovery, thank you. We'll get there, one day at a time. She has even started trying to smile today, she can't really do it yet but I know her heart smiles because she's surrounded by love!

Be grateful for your family, and by family I don't mean just your children or parents or cousins or uncles and aunts. I mean those people with whom you exchange mutual love and respect. I'm just lucky to have such a wonderful child, and I can't help but smile when I see her, hear her voice, or even just think about her.
