ok, so, many moons ago, before we were husband&wife, our first band together was called "the bayly frequency". it was made up of myself and tim, plus our friends brett and ryan. we had no idea what we were doing together muscially, we barely knew each other, and we definitely didn't know how to make a record. so, naturally, we decided it was probably the best thing for us to do to start up a band, record our own album, and start playing some shows....

ryan moved away from bloomington a few years ago so he could go to graduate school. he's back in indiana now, and we still get the chance to see him once in a while. (ryan taught me how to play the guitar...) this week, brett is leaving indiana for new orleans. we're having a send-off party for him tonight, and it'll be a little sadder around here without him.

so, in honor of brett and ryan, and in honor of staying good friends with people you love even when they live far away, here's the one and only bayly frequency record for you to download, in all it's embarassing glory. (warning:::it's bad) but, at least it keeps us humble to remember where we came from, and to remember how much fun this actually was. in this case, the means justify the end.
