Well we're rolling again - YEAR EIGHT for the band and some great stuff coming along. Apart from gigging we're enjoying hooking up with some amazing guys from various bands and genres. Whether it's a jam in a damn good music venue, or Chris demoing guitars at a London music show, or even the overseas festival scene - we love it we soak it up and add it to the lifeblood of new ideas.
We'll never let a music style get in the way of making a tune - jazz , blues, funk, rock or rock and roll - it's just another party and another mood. Never forget there's a limited time on this planet for all of us - and we gotta party!
We hope you'll join us in the coming months and years with whatever and with whoever we touch touch base. We rarely bite but often rock.
Don't forget the GOLDEN BOULDER Website which along with Facebook and You Tube (and all those other distractions from the realities of life) well we'll try to keep them occupied all the time we can't find a place to play.
Although we've had some amazing gigs over the years like Wembley, Hard Rock Cafe, BBC-TV, Festivals around the UK and Europe, we still love to rock a local party! Yes never get so up yourself that you can't party.
So many bands think they're the next big thing. Maybe they will be, maybe they won't be, and sadly it often has little to do with music.There's always someone there to take your money just to tell you what you want to hear, then tell you nothing once you've paid.
Get a life, invest enough to get paid for what you do, and don't kid yourself you're special beyond your own girlfriend/boyfreind/family boundaries. You are as special as you can make it, and hopefully someone will enjoy it too.
It's about the music and the feeling it creates. The money it makes (just to live and hopefully more), and the satisfaction that you are making a personal mark on your journey through this individual blip in time.If anyone remembers you, then you have been special.
