hey to all!I'm a little new to this blogging stuff.I guess this is really just a note.I want to thank everyone who has visited this site and has shown interest in the work I've done.It means more than you'll ever know...
I'm about to get back in the studio and finish this project I've been working on for what seems like forever.Doug Lancio is producing and has elevated things to a place I didn't know was possible.He's truly brilliant.I'm thrilled to get the chance to work with him!It will be a bit of a surprise to some.
These last two years have been difficult.Many family crisis and much illness...so it's taken me awhile to get "back in the saddle".I'm looking forward to a great year.Peace,M

Woo hoo, woo hoo, woo hoo....a new album. I can't wait. I LOVE your voice and think you are an incredible songwriter. I like to hear you sing your songs :) Lying to the Moon is one of my all time favorite CDs. It is so beautiful. I'm sorry the last two years have been had for you. I'm glad you are back in the saddle and I'm looking forward to hearing you new material.

Yay!! I love hearing about new music. Matraca I have to say my favorite part of the Farther Along video is Oh Cumberland. I hadn't watched the dvd in a while and I was rearranging my office and had it on for the music (to clean to). What a beautiful song and an amazing performance. I don't think I've ever heard such a gorgeous arrangement for harmonica and accordion.
