Tipitina's Music Office Co-Op/Shreveport and the Red River Songwriters' Association will be hosting a workshop at the Shreveport Co-Op. This event is open to the public and will be discussing the topic of Songwriting Demos. The first hour of the event will be dedicated to "How to Record a Song Demo" while the second hour will be dedicated to "What to Do With Your Demo".
This informative workshop will educate and inform songwriters on the basics of how to record a simple song demo using a computer program called "GarageBand". In addition, participants will learn how to use technology to get their song exposed to potential producers, singers and promoters.
