hey there,
Hope all is well! its been awhile since we did a proper
NEWS UPDATE, so I figured its time to get it on!

2009 is here and we have some killer new music
to get out there as well as bringing back some
of the older titles that are still kicking for us, but
may have been missed by the newer generation of Harsh EBM/
Industrial music listeners...

We are taking the first month or so of 2009 to focus on
last years releases as we had some slow times for a bit,
and its definately a lot harder in a falling economy and a
growing desire to downloading (legal and illegal)instead of CD's...

But in February we plan on releasing a phenomonal new
CD from Chile's PROYECTO CRISIS!!!
This debut CD is total fast, furious and harsh EBM,
with killer arrangements, sick vocals, and also features
Spanish lyrics all the way through.
This has a powerful,crystal clear sound that will kick
some asses!!
Fans of HOCICO, especially the older stuff, along with
the newer realm of Harsh EBM bands from South America
will really dig on this adrenalized attack!

We also have some dark and ominous Harsh electro from
INFRA BLACK coming soon which will remind you of a cross
of YelworC and Oldschool Suicide Commando with tons
of fucked up and more obscure movie samples to enjoy!

New albums in the works from ANGELS ON ACID, DERMA-TEK,
DIVERJE and others for 2009...
We also plan on doing some specialty releases as we did last year,
some LIMITED EDITION PRESSINGS, and we'll even personalize them more
with FREE DOWNLOAD ALBUMS/EPS to accompany each release, and
we'll be doing our best to satisfy the demand for downloads
with having all our older stuff and out of print stuff on
itunes, eMusic, Rhapsody and all the other places you go to.

 We just want to keep it going here, and get people familiar with
the many releases we have been putting out over the years.
92 releases is a decent amount, so we want to expose people
to those they have missed, and we'll have our new bands giving
you bonus EP's on the full length CD's as well, and giving
you so much more for your hard earned buck.

 DSBP RECORDS is also open to work with new people who want
to REP, Street team, and spread the word for us, as well
as getting their own band in on the action for distro and
we will help bands self release their stuff if they need that
kind of assistance, as always, and we will be doing RADIO PROMOTIONS
as well as CLUB PROMOTIONS for them and others as well.

 2008 was a pretty good year, till the end really when the economy
collapsed, but here is what we released and had a great time doing
so last year...

All of these albums did real well with the fans, listeners, and radio
and some clubs as well...we appreciate all the support and hope
more people will discover these bands as time goes on..
find them all and lots more that we distro from all kinds of other
Independent labels on the DSBP website....new and improved..

 We been here and "Independent" all along for 13 years and now
we want to do all we can to work with you and our supporters to keep
improving the label, and keep it alive and "with the times"
as hard as it may be to let go of our preferred format, the CD..
..we will always try to do CD's in some amount, as well
as all the downloads the listeners demand...
Pressings get smaller but it doesn't mean the music will stop!
