We need to be in a state of expectancy everyday. Bottom line is the large number of scriptures referring to us watching for the LORD. Amen.
however the picture of the Jewish wedding does fit precisely. gentleman proposes..lady accepts. then a betrothal period and the wedding date is known only by the father of the man..after he declares the wedding chamber done.

So..i do see His catching us up as imminent. *Hallelujah!* And am watching. My only concern is..like Song of Solomon in the OT and Ten Virgins parable of Matthew 25..will those who believe but are not pre-tribulation rapture..watching w/love and faith..get to skip the tribulation? or will they then endure the hour of temptation..having ignored the times and not stayed in watch? i dont know. i do know many many people..if looking for Christ at all..do so as mid trib, post trip..pre wrath of Revelation 11 where the two witnesses appear.
i've never been able to change anyones view throo prayer and scripture.
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

..i wonder if vs 11 here is referring to all those who teach other than imminence and pre-tribulation rapture. .."steal our crown." of righteousness as Paul refers to in 2 Tim 4..given to those who love His appearing?
I'm not taking any chances! And besides..the Holy Spirit is clear and here for us. Ask Him if what the above says is on or not.
