Here are some more details about the Cutting Room show on October 21. Doors are at 7. Master songwriter George Usher will open up with a solo set at 7:30. At 8:30 we take the stage, with our friends Don Piper and Nancy Polstein making up the rhythm section and special guest Stan Harrison (of Bowie, Gainsbourg, and Duran Duran--!!--fame) on saxophone. There may be other special guests as well, but we can say no more right now. Finally, at 9:30 our labelmate Dave Rave will play a set of jazzy chamber pop with guitarist Mark McCarron and a string section. The cost for all this merriment is $10. The Cutting Room is at 19 West 24th St. (between 6th Ave. and Broadway) in New York, extremely close to the N/R subway stop at 23rd St. Come on down on Tuesday the 21st and help us celebrate the release of Rendezvous!
