We regret to inform everyone that LoneStar PornStar is going to hang it up for awhile. It has been a long six years and a really sweet ride but the members of LSPS have all decided to take a long break from the road and performing all together. Today is October 9th, 2009 and for some odd reason nine has a very strange but special meaning to me personally but thats another story. Ofcourse regardless of whether the bands hooks back up to write more music or play more shows, the members of LSPS will always be involved in music and different projects of sorts.
Now the recent departure of our drummer Manny has no bearing on this decision because those of you that have seen our new drummer Chris Martinez in action know first hand, he not only kicks much ass but breathes new life into the music of LSPS. Should we decide to play a few shows together at a later date or even start recording some new music sometime in the future, Chris will be our guy. As of right now the band is going to call it quits. LSPS will continue to play any and all scheduled shows. (Please see calender or dates below)
We know this may come as a blow to alot of our dedicated fans and would appreciate your love and feedback below in the comment section but please know that this was something that needed to happen. The band members need some personal time off from playing music. We will miss our fans very much! Thank you for your devotion and years of ongoing support. We love you all very much!! LSPS will be performing a Big Metal Music Festival at THE STAFFORD HOUSE in Bryan College Station on Saturday, October 24th. Then the Porn Stars will be headed to the Valley to play THE BAR on Friday, November 6th in Brownsville, Texas and the SMOKING ACES on Saturday, November 7th in Mission, Texas.
Last but not least, LSPS will be playing their final show at BFE ROCK CLUB (Formerly FBI Rocks - Forgetta Bout It) right here in Houston on Friday, November 20th with PowderBurn. This will be an ALL AGES SHOW so bring the kids. Don't miss this show! Two worldwide albums, hundreds upon hundreds of shows, thousands of miles, several state lines, thousands of die hard fans, we have met hundreds of great people and shared the stage with many great national artist. We may not have a major record deal but we do have a legacy and most of all we have the greatest fans in the world. Thats all that matters. Without you none of this would of ever been possible.
