Celebrates 20 Magical Years at a New Location!
King Arthur invites you to experience a day full of magic and celebration with tournaments and other festivities. It should be a fun-filled, peaceful day, but when the banished Mordred shows up uninvited, peace is not to be expected. What is Mordred up to this year? Find out at the 2009 NJ Renaissance Kingdom.
The event will take place every Saturday and Sunday, 12 PM to 7 PM, June 20th through June 28th at a new location, the Red Mill Museum Village, in historic Clinton, NJ. Throughout the day, King Arthur and his court will entertain you with music, comedy performances and the Shakespeare Troupe. Thrill to the Living Chess Tournament. Children can enjoy special games, fairy tale performances and arts and crafts. The merchants of the kingdom will be sure to delight you with a wide array of swords, jewelry, clothing and one of a kind hand made items. Allow yourself to be tempted by our delicious food and snacks.
The new location at the Red Mill Museum Village is situated on 10 tranquil, green acres next to Clinton’s waterfall and the south branch of the Raritan River. It is made up of the Red Mill, the Mulligan Quarry and its outbuildings, the Bunker Hill Schoolhouse and a replica log cabin. It is the most photographed spot in New Jersey. Over the nearby antique iron bridge is the main street of historic Clinton. There you will find boutiques, coffee houses and restaurants. So, come early and explore this quaint town.
Ticket Prices for the NJ Renaissance Kingdom are $20 for Adults and $10 for Seniors and Children (Ages 7-12). Children 6 and under are invited as our guests; they will be admitted at no charge (Limit two children per adult, please)! The full experience features more entertainment to be seen in a single day.
