My album is almost done being recorded. The last step is to mix it and get the final track done. Then after that it'll be finished.... Recording wise of course. Going in to a nice professional studio with out any whiny little bitches in it was very nice. The album would of been done a while ago, but because of studio problems in the past, they prevented it from being finished, but now it's almost done.

I recorded the whole CD in a day. Everything (except two songs) were done in one take, which def. made it go faster.

I played guitar on all the songs. My friend Shea came to play the violin on "No Reasons At All" and "We Are Young" which was totally awesome, I listened to the rough recordings of the song and really loved what the violin brought to the table on those two songs.

The guy who owns the studio: Johnny, helped out with the drums (thank god he can play them), he also did an awesome job with the drums, truly amazing. He also knows what he's doing with his studio and stuff, really nice guy.

My mom's boyfriend (Eric) who is the leader of the fantastic salsa band Quemando will be playing trumpet on my song "Mon Monsieur" which translates to "My Mister" :D yeah I'm really excited to hear what eric does on Friday while we finish the final mix.

Totally exciting.
