Anybody remember who Christine Beatty is?   That's right, she's the one that was supposed to serve up Kilpatrick to Kim Worthy and her band of functionaries.  Well, she didn't and they've put her in jail.  Probably for 120 days, and she will be forced to pay a $100,000 fine. 
   Now, I'd like to take this opportunity to say that Christine Beatty is the kind of person that we don't see often enough.  She could be out in New York right now, carving out some kind of book deal but instead she's broke and she's in jail.  People who say Detroit's best days are behind us don't know anything about Christine Beatty or about the kind of pressure she's been under to sell her city out.  In an age where people talk about selling out like it's some kind of exotic art form, we should take note of a young woman that is more than willing to pay the price of loyalty.
