It seems that as of today, the Chinese authorities have blocked internet access to Twitter, Flickr, Bing, Live.com, Hotmail.com and several other sites. Wordpress,  YouTube, Blogger are also blocked.
According to early reports on Twitter it seems that the Chinese authorities want to quiet down the entire major social networking and social media part of the web ahead of the 20th anniversary of Tiananmen massacre on June 4th.

I feel ya, bro!  It's ao amazing when we get back back down to the simple things that make life so worth living.  As a society, we're all so caught up in our hectic activities, we never appreciate the welcoming calm a rainstorm can bring with it.  BTW, it just starting pouring here 20 minutes ago, and I totally sat out on the porch and just listened to the roar. After a long day at work, it certainly mellowed me out. I wish you all the best on your new, spiritual path!:)
