most everyday i record something be it ultrashort one takes, looonnnggg multi tracked stuff or vice versa.

i treat it all as a sort of audio diary.

thus

i have hours of music on hard drives, flash drives, smart media and dat tape(don't ask why i still use this piece of shit dat deck, but i do) sitting in the corner of my studio - always thinking i will get back around to to editing and mixing them. something has been holding me back until today, i finally firewire'd my drive ( sounds sexy and mysterious, i know) and been sorting through 'the stuff'. sifting through improvs, lil' ditties, hums, multitracked goodness, melodies, field recordings, warbling, percussive rhythm and other such things.... - it kinda sounds like someone else besides me made some of these tracks and that is an interesting feeling to be certain.

the mix/edit/mangle is on.
i am determined and amped.


also



completed a Darsombra remix for release by Public Guilt and may be only available on the Darsombra tour this fall. (though i could be wrong about that)

and

there should be a track i did with Zano coming out on his new album that should also be done in the fall.
