Thanksgiving weekends are one of my favorite times of the year. You see so many people out that normally don't get around as well as those from out of town visiting families, etc...
This weekend I played just about the most varied shows possible. Turkey day night w/Citizen Mundi was off the hook I even sat in with some scratching (haven't done that with a band in years).
Saturday did some loungey (dunno what you really call it) and Christmas stuff for my friends @ Dwelling Spaces and Raspberry (cranberry) Grunt. Got a possible new idea for a mix cd we'll see what develops.
Last night was the Cool Whip on the pumpkin pie playing with local punk band The Decomposed @ Soundpony. Had to arrange the setup a little different but the guys were cool and it all worked out with a nice crowd...starting to be a tradition with the Revolution parties (we'll be back on Dec. 29th watch out!). Saw soo many faces from out of town it was great.
I guess the point of this post is to give thanks for all the cool things going on in my life right now and all my real friends out there. When I drop into a lull a weekend like this one really gets me back to normal and focused on thangs. Happy belated Thanksgiving to all reading and Happy Holidays in general. Little Sasha is healing fine and being bratty as normal (she got spayed on Tuesday) so I'm gonna go share some leftover turkey with her...take care.
