I just wanted to remind all of my California friends that I'm coming out your way in just two weeks!!! :) I play at
Genghis Cohen in LA on November 11th and at
The Union Room in San Francisco on November 13th!!! PLEASE come on out! I can't wait to FINALLY meet you all!!!

1. I still love Halloween!!
Yesterday we had our 2nd Annual Pumpkin Carving/Halloween Movie Marathon...
Recognize mine? I should hope so!!!
The highlight of the night was watching "
The Haunted". That movie is SO terrible it's a blast. The acting is a joke!!! Seriously, if you want a good time, pick that movie up and invite me over. I promise you laughs.
2. I finally found a decent and recent video of me playing percussion. Many of you have asked me for a video of me playing drums. They were my first instrument.

Well, even though it's only acoustic percussion, here ya go...
This is me backing up my good friend Matt Jones...
3. And speaking of videos, I was invited by my buddy Ben Wagner to take part in a charity Christmas Album. Everyone submits a song and then you do a group song together...I selected to do The Carpenters' "Merry Christmas Darling" and I'll be recording it soon. In the meantime, here's a small behind the scenes look at the group song...
4. I wanted to mention something as my #4. It was looking quite probable that I was going to have to cancel my trip to California. My cd release put me SO far in a financial hole that I didn't think I would be able to pay my rent, let alone make a trip out West.
But, because of AMAZING support from people like Shannon Wolfe, Ron Wenick, Dee Loesch, Sheila Marrs, Carley Bain, Sarah Christianson and more, I now (hopefully) have my flights covered, and places to rest my head. The support to make sure this mini tour happens has been amazing!!!
Bless you guys!!! :) I'm not a religious man, but as of late, I've found myself saying "God bless ya" to almost everyone I know. So, God bless ya! :) I can't wait to make the trip.
Wow, TWO positive blogs in a row. What's going on here?

Thanks for reading!!!
