Hello everyone!

Here's the lastest news from Adelaide, Australia on the eve of the Adelaide International Guitar Festival.....

One (very busy) year ago, I was here in Adelaide for this festival!  In a day or two my Aussie Fortune Tellers will arrive from around the country. It's going to be great to catch up with my mates, even though at the same time I miss my USA Fortune Tellers, Dave Kahl & Donnie Shultz, and my adopted 'home town' of Portland, OR. 

It's Summer festival season here in Australia - and I've already played Wangaratta Jazz Festival with Duke Robillard, and the Great Southern Blues & Rockabilly Festival with Sue Foley & Diunna Greenleaf...but before leaving the US, me and The Preacher toured down to Austin,TX to record a new album for Yellow Dog Records.  It was a great session - including legendary piano player Pinetop Perkins, now in his 90s.  I've posted a blog about the new record at my website www.fionaboyes.com .  Been working on this site! Lots of new stuff happening, including (finally!) a web store for CD sales & downloads.
