Thanks so much to everyone who voted.
Despite not being a band anymore, we pulled in BEST ROCK BAND at the CU Local Music Awards last night for a third straight year.
Our good friends elsinore won for BEST FOLK/AMERICANA and frontman Ryan Groff walked away with BEST SINGER/SONGWRITER.
Also, Krukid won for BEST HIP-HOP.......Larry was suppossed to accept for him but he was...uh...."not in the building" at the time. We're excited for Kruk because he's in the process of handing over his brand new record to RAWKUS in New York. The same Rawkus brought us Mos Def, Talib Kweli and Soundbombing II (considered by some to be the best hip-hop compilation ever). Larry got so sing as well as play bass, classical guitar and electric guitar on the record. Stay tuned for more details on that release.
Big ups to everyone who works so hard to put on these award shows. It's always a good time.
