It is never easy to say good bye to family, but Saturday night we had to. Bassist Lance Dobbs is no longer with One Shot Down. Lance has been our bass player ever since One Act Show debuted and it will be hard to not have his energy onstage. In the end, however, we made a move that will hopefully prove beneficial to the band and, ultimately, Lance. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors and musical pursuits.
With that, OSD will press on and is excited to announce Dan Oliver as our new bassist. Dan is a veteran of the local music scene and has played in a number of bands, most notably 8th Day. He is an accomplished musician who brings a solid groove, songwriting chops and vocal ability to the band. Please make Dan feel welcome.
We will debut the new lineup this Saturday at Rhythm and Brews in downtown Chattanooga as we open for ZOSO: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience. Hope to see everyone there.
Again, this has not been an easy week for us as a band and we feel that the reasons behind Lance's departure should be left confidential. We are excited about the new album dropping next month and hope you guys are excited to hear it. We are very proud of the finished product.
Thanks for reading, and, as always, Support Your Local Revolution!
