Hello all. its Sarah here.

This is a somewhat sad entry onto the Soldier page.. or, perhaps, an urgent one.

We are in need of a permanent drummer.

Yup. Thats it. a good drummer, who is free to practise, ready to tour for up to a month at a time, and excited to record.

Sadly, without a permanent drummer, the Soldiers will find it very hard to play shows, very hard to record their new album. and very very hard to get it onto shelves/merch stands/mp3 players anywhere. ever.

Uh-oh..

On a lighter note, applicants should know that as our new Drummer, you can expect to see many new things, take on exciting adventures, and sample exotic drinks of the world in a first class VW Transporter for much of your free time. There will be a selection of light entertainment, great exercise facilities in the area of Heavy Lifting, and a sense of genial companionship and teamwork on board. You will need to be experienced in the field of hitting drums, at a proffesional level.

Seriously though. If you ARE a drummer, if think that you like us. and if you can play drums to the standard of the songs on this page, we would be interested to meet you. Very interested.

Come and join and save our band.

Please send messages to this One Toy Soldier page, or emails to onetoysoldier@hotmail.com

Love from Sarah. (and Ric and Ross) xxx

PS- In other news, we are hopefully to record our two newest songs this month, which are unheard, for the most part... excitng!

PPS- This blog is in no way influenced by the performance of our temporary drummer Nick, who has been 100% good looking and skilled throughout these past few months. We only wish we could keep him!

Northampton, 'eh? I honestly cannot tell you if I live within travelling distance of your particular 'ampton but my lack of geographical knowledge of it's whereabouts implies that I probably am not...

PS. I nearly bought a toy just like that while I was up at the Edinburgh Fringe! It made near-musics as I dragged it along the shop... but I went with the puppets instead, they're acer.
