We're gearing up for another year of The Deep Roots Music Project at Roosevelt High School and taking care of a little summer house cleaning.

This August we cleared out a little back stock of CD inventory by donating assorted Deep Roots CDs to a few great causes. First, we sent 600 copies of various Dep Roots CDs to our friends at The Veterans Fund (http://www.veteransfund.com/). The Veterans Fund will distribute the CDs among the libraries of all 171 VA hospitals around the nation.

About 70 CDs were also gifted to the Multnomah County Library and the County of Tillamook Library.

We hope these donations will allow more people to benefit from the songs of Deep Roots.
