WHAT I THOUGHT OF IT OVERALL?

Coheed & Cambria are definitely one of the most amazing live shows I’ve been too, and Claudio is the most intricate guitar player I’ve ever seen. I always go to their shows expecting the best, and it’s always what they deliver. I was just a tad unimpressed with their setlist this time around, though, but eitherway I still enjoyed myself and this time I got to see them with friends - unlike the other two times I’d seen them - and even though I worked 12 hours before I made the trek in to go see them I still got through the night without tiring myself out. Also, like every other gig they’ve played they come out for their last song and bust out a 7 minute guitar solo, this time they added a drum solo and although it was really, really good and all that they dragged it on wayyyyytoo long.

Oh and Coheed? WHERE THE FUCK WAS MOTHER SUPERIOR? OR WAKE UP? I swear to god. I waited all fucking night for Mother Superior. It’s a new song so I thought for sure that they’d play it maybe. Because it’s amazing and I’m pretty sure it’s a single, I’m not too sure but. And Wake Up is from the previous C.D. so what the hell? I’m so glad Devil In Jersey City got played though. SO SO GLAD. It’s my favorite Coheed song ever. Next to Wake Up.

BUT ANYWAY! Back to the OMGGGGSOLOOFEPICPROPORTIONS. Claudio never fails to amaze me, seriously. Not only does he have this incredible voice - which does not sound like it suits a man of his proportions - he can really, really play his guitar. I mean, the man can even turn around, put over the top of his head and play it. He can play it with his fucking TEETH. WHO THE HELL PLAYS THEIR GUITAR WITH THEIR TEETH? CLAUDIO DOES. That’s who. That man seriously makes me weak in the knees, and can make me swoon every single time he comes out on stage and starts playing that fricken guitar. And he’s the only person in existance that can pull off a ’fro in my opinion. I would make love to that ’fro. It’s THAT sexy, rofl. Claudio, in general, is just a very sexy man. And he makes me happy. Not that the other band members aren’t great, THEY ARE. I MEAN, ALL OF COHEED AND CAMBRIA ARE AMAZING AND THEY JUST BRING THIS INCREDIBLE PRESENCE TO THE STAGE EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. But I love me some Claudio, and yes this sounds like a fangirlish rant of blabbering-ness. Which it pretty much is, but I don’t know why he just brings out this whole other side to me. Something that not many men/boys can do.

LOL. AND ONLY COHEED AND CAMBRIA COULD GET ME BACK IN THE PIT. I tore my nipple ring out over the weekend, and was still in mad pain with that so I was really wary about getting into the crowd/pit BUT I DID IT. And it was amazing. And I jumped and went crazy. I threw my fist into the air in the chorus’, I screamed my lungs out to every single song. I laughed, I cried. I got pushed into a circle pit of doom and I fucking windmilled. Being at a concert is the only place where I feel like I belong. I’m with a group of people that share some common musical tastes with me, I’m listening to good music from a band that I obviously like/will come to like more or less depending on their performance and I’m just having a good time.

I come out with a twisted ankle, this mahussive purple bruise on my chest from this tall-ass fucking dickhead that was in front of me that kept elbowing me in the chest. A bruised elbow, a tiny bruise on my cheek from being punched by a hardcore dancer in the circle pit. And my right hand’s been really sore ever since but I don’t care. It’s all fucking worth it to see a band that I truely love and will probably love for a long time to come.

I totally give it a 9.5/10. It loses the .5 for not having Mother Superior and Wake Up in the setlist. But I’ll forgive them this time :) And I can’t always get EVERYTHING I want. Coheed are definitely going into my top 5 favorite bands of all time. They’ve proven themself worthy time and time again and I know for certain now that I’ll most likely always love them.
