yeah there is a problem, i am not able to add friend as well.

No. it's not that. It is when you go to the page to request him as a friend, and it takes you to the 'generic' homepage for myspace. This has happened to me before when I have tried to request a band as a friend, and their page layout was the kind where the add friends and mssg and all that was not like the standard ones for most everybody else.

I don't think there is anything anyone can do about that, until Tom fixes that glitch - or the band changes their customized layout back to where you can click on add friends and it actually take you to the section it's supposed to take you to.

I'd love to add Scot though. I'll just keep trying, I guess.
