Ah sweet memories

I remember a time when Northern Ireland was full of Christian rock/metal bands back in late eighties early nineties. I myself was lead vocals for Redeemer, we had other bands like Noah’s Ark, Crusader, Fortress, Zionsnoiz,  Light wait  One way blues band. Every weekend there  were coffee bars all over Northern Ireland opening their  doors to the bands mentioned it was a great time to minister to people about Jesus Christ. I am thankful to God for those days and miss them fondly. I also remember when I was involved with promotion of gigs and involved in a team of bringing big bands to Northern Ireland, One way Promotions, Daystar Promotions, during those times I got to meet bands like Whitecross, Barrencross, Seventh Angel, Petra, DC Talk, Jerusalem. I know the music scene here now for good Christian Rock/Metal is a lot smaller, but thank God that over the years new bands are emerging Crave, Dokime, I am pleased to be part of the Sanctuary team in Northern Ireland and we all had a great show at Cloverstone 2009 that featured Conduit, Back Pocket Prophet both from England  Ned Kelly Band and before mentioned.
