Last week
Grindhead Records officially launched their new website, complete with an entirely new
E-Store!
The new site features a very clean, uncluttered design with a focus on
easy navigation, improved SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and direct
access to the latest gig information, free downloads and information on
the latest releases.
To celebrate the launch of the new site, Grindhead Records is now offering:
A FREE compilation CD when you buy 2 CDs
A FREE CD of your choosing (of equal or lesser value) when you buy 3 CDs
2 FREE CDs of your choosing when you buy 5 or more CDs

While some minor developments are still being made to the aesthetics of the
E-Store,
the site is ready to receive orders and we encourage you to take a look
around. All of these changes should make purchasing products far easier
for everyone out there and we would really appreciate any feedback you

Here are some of the sites new features:
RSS Feeds: The
Grindhead Records homepage pulls information relating to the record label directly from RSS Feeds derived from the
AusGrind to ensure that the website features all the latest news updated in real time.
E-Store: The new
Grindhead Records E-Store was created and later customised using the trusted and secure open source
osCommerce Online Merchant. The new E-Store allows for customers to browse Grindhead’s extensive catalog of extreme music much more efficiently.
Easy Catalogue Searching: immediately find the CD
you’re looking for using the search function – as well as all related
releases from artists of a similar style.
Customised Product Descriptions: lots of time has gone in to ensure each product has a full, customised description of the band and their style.
Multiple Currencies: make payments through
PayPal
in either Australian Dollars within Australia, or in American Dollars
or Euros. Simply change the currency of your choice on the drop down
box on the right hand side. Please note that orders within Australia
must be pay for using Australia dollars – similar all international
orders must use American Dollars or Euros.
Customer Accounts: the new
E-Store
allows you to create your own member account, which securely stores all
of your shipping and billing information, as well as your order history
and newsletter subscriptions. You can follow up the current status of
your orders to see exactly when they were shipped.
Newsletter Subscriptions: be sure to sign up to our
Newsletter to get all the latest news on products, releases and the
record label as well as the occasion special discount and sales offers
for members.
Product Suggestions: the
Grindhead Records’ E-Store can recommend you other products based on what other customers have purchased.
Best Sellers: the table on the right hand side displays Grindhead Records’ most popular, best-selling products.
