As you may or may not know Chris & Johnny went to London late last year as winners of the Grant McLennan Memorial Fellowship. It was a great time for the boys. They played at The Borderline, met up with Robert Forster at the show, got memorial fellowship tattoos in Soho, met Gary Louris & Mark Olsen (of The Jayhawks) at Rough Trade Records...all the usual stuff.
In other news, recording for LP3 starts in July and the band has some great shows coming up. (Louris/Olsen - Mick Thomas etc)
