We're extremely lucky to have James McGarvey of The Comedy Pigs leading 2 very different workshops open to everyone of all ages & skill level!  James has performed across Maryland with The Comedy Pigs & BIG's Gus & is very eager to share with you the skills that make up the basis of great improv.


Improv Workshop – Short Form
July 21st from 11-1PM  $35
Have you ever wondered how they do it on Whose Line Is It Anyway?  Improv isn't just for the so called "funny people".  You can have a ton of fun and enjoy doing it.  This basic workshop is a great way to discover your creative side that you probably didn't even know you had (or if you do know it, then you would be wrong if you didn't feed it).  This workshop will introduce you to the fundamental skills of improv such as support, agreement, and trust.  Meet fun people in a relaxing environment that will bring out your funny side.

Improv Workshop – Long form
July 28th from 11-1PM $35
Ever wonder how performers on stage create unscripted scenes based off of only one suggestion by an audience?  This workshop will teach you how to build scenes over longer durations.  Learn how to work with other players in an ensemble, use basic heightening techniques, and reincorporate themes and characters.  Experience improv in its truest form.
