Christmas 2007 and New Year's on Rockworld TV!
We here at Rockworld have been cooking up a veritable plethora of the finest new programming for the Christmas and New Year period, so you need not sit watching endless repeats of James Bond and Disney films while your turkey digests.
Starting this Friday at 9pm we have special highlights of this year's Big Reunion, with all the on-site mayhem from the festival as well as live tracks from The Twang, Forward Russia, Young Knives, The Rumble Strips and more.
In Hard Rock Hell - The New Breed we meet some of the hottest young acts that performed at the amazing Minehead weekender, including interviews with Turisas, Finntroll and Romeo Must Die.
Classic Rockworld brings you amazing insights with some of the biggest names in the history of rock, including in this first show Heaven and Hell and Twisted Sister.
We were also at this year's most in-demand metal show, the sold out Black Crusade for exclusive interviews with Machine Head, Trivium, Arch Enemy, Dragon Force and Shadows Fall to get the behind the scenes gossip on this most monstrous of tours.
In the Rockworld.TV Covers Special we present an hour of the best, unique, often one-time-only performances from Gary Crowley Presents, Death Disco TV and more. There's something for everyone here, you might be surprised by some of the performances that came out!
Boxing Day is usually the time of year to be parked in front of some horrendously unwatchable old movies, so we decided it would be the perfect time to give everyone the chance to catch up on our amazing anime shows Divergence Eve and DNAngel in a special Anime Marathon day. Starting at 10am running right through til 4am, these shows are not to be missed.
Murder Music - Black Metal makes its TV debut in full, uncut form as Rene takes you into the depths of the darkest and often most misundersood genre around. From Newcastle to Norway, the history and influence of bands such as Sabbat and Venom is not to be underestimated.
There's also a very special return of our ear-bleedingly explicit Gallows show filmed earlier in the year at the Hammersmith Apollo, chats with indie newcomers One Night Only and The Pigeon Detectives at the Kentish Town Forum, and we catch up with Bullet For My Valentine in the lead up to the release of their new album.
All this plus brand new competitions for Radiohead, Guitar Hero and Mindless Self Indulgence, and of course the finest live performances and interviews from the Rockworld archives. PLUS watch out every day for the all new Fresh Metal talent search, a hunt for the finest up and coming acts around. We want YOUR feedback so head to www.rockworld.tv for more information.
Christmas need no longer be the time to waste your brain in front of re-makes, period dramas and soap stars running each other over - Rockworld.TV has everything you need to make it go with a blast!
Head to www.rockworld.tv for trailers and more information on these and all our other shows, and keep track of the TV listings pages or Sky programming guide for exact showing times.
PLUS COMING IN 2008... Job For A Cowboy, The Black Dahlia Murder and... Get In The Ring Round 2!
