We're home from KS. Joel and I got a brief chance to spend some time with my family in Kansas City for the 4th. Headed over to Newton, KS for the
Chisolm Trail Festival event which turned out to be way more than we expected it to be (on so many levels)! Put it this way -- Lesson re-learned: Never compare yourselves amongst yourselves, and never expect anything from anyone. People will always let you down (regardless of who they serve).
I wanted to write you all and express how grateful I am for each and every one of you. Your support over the years has brought me to where I am today. It's tough juggling the music we make ~ with our personal lives so we're thankful for all of you that look out for us. I could not have done this without you. I hope and pray that this next record (in the works) shows you that. And everything anyone has ever invested in us as artists will pay off!
