This is it!  After much turmoil and doubt this is definitely the weekend we will record.  Thanks to Modern Formations Gallery and Geoff Frost we will lay down 12-14 minutes of music for one 7" plus maybe one more song for good measure. 

The compilation is "the year in missing 7"s" being put out on Hardtravelin' Records.  The deal will be a 4-way split CD in the form of a collection of 7"s that unfortunately won't actually come out as 7"s.

Each band is recording enough material for 2 sides of a record, running about 6-7 minutes per side plus 7" artwork
The tentative bands are:

Aydin
fuckedupmess
Young Men's Department

Don't worry, if you are confused we will clarify later on.  Stay tuned for a report back after this weekend.

We have finished the recording part.  We will be mixing this week and will hopefully have some tunes up on here soon after that (complete with pictures).  So excited!

There is even a guest spot from fuckedupmess!

Can't wait to hear the finished product!

Geoff, Andy and I mixed the recording last night (well, I mostly laid on the floor and said "that sounds good", "less vocals", "more guitar", "less bass").  It sounds totally awesome.  Kudos to Geoff for recording us and making it good, making it good like he always do. 

I think that 5 of the 6 songs sound good enough to put to wax.  Still need to talk with the other ladies about that.  You will get a taste on here soon.

We are damn cute!
